Grading Policy (click for Espanol)
Grades are earned for a variety of assignments. I have four assignment types. Each assignment type counts for 25% of the student's overall grade. The assignment types are:
1. 25% Classwork: Daily standards-based assignments completed while in class. If you are absent, it is your responsibility to complete what you missed. Homework assignments and blog entries are included in this area.
2. 25% Attendance, Classroom Participation and Conduct: If you come to school every day, participate in the lessons in class, and are nice to others, your grade will be high in this area.
3. 25% Quizzes and Tests: Can you prove you understand the course content?
4. 25% School-assigned project(s) Can you show and tell others about the course content by building a project? These projects may be build alone or with others, the requirements vary from quarter to quarter so be sure to check out the project page if you have questions.
